Ben de Pfieffer Key,
Executive Coach
It’s a world where psychology and HR intersects in a career spanning over two decades, after graduating from the University of Sussex with a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Psychology. Ben’s career in Human Resources began in employee engagement analysis and psychometric testing, helping organisations identify opportunities to analyse and create inclusive cultures to achieve success. He then had a career as a recruitment consultant, before leading international teams in talent acquisition, management, and development.
Yet, his true purpose emerged in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) where he now works as a Consultant, transforming cultures into environments where people can thrive, not just survive. Underpinning his work is his belief that business leaders are critical in making lasting change, but often don’t know where to start in developing the skills, awareness and behaviours that foster the inclusive cultures that celebrate difference and lead to business success.
He is also passionate about removing barriers for underrepresented talent, and works with historically marginalised clients including the LGBTQ+community, people of colour, women and those with neurodiversity to help them unleash their potential and become self-advocates.
Creating a safe space for reflection, he offers both support and challenge, collaborating with his clients to help them clarify what they want to achieve, identify their own personal hurdles and how to overcome them. Helping them to step out of their comfort zone, he empowers them to take ownership and accountability of their decisions and move forward.
Ben is trained through Full Circle Development Ltd. in the TRANSFORM Model of coaching, and adheres to the standards and ethics set out but the International Coach Federation (ICF). His goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of all of his clients.
His heart beats for people—their growth, experiences, and well-being.
